      Exclamation Help!?!!??

I'm kinda new to the LD world and I wanted to know if you guys had any advice? I have a dream journal, which I put like 2 in every night. I haven't had any memorial lucid dreams yet and I think I need some help. I sometimes take melitonin but not when trying to attain lucidity. Any advice would just be fantastic. Thank you.

The easiest way that I know of inducing lucid dreams is by asking yourself repeatedly (once every 30 minutes or so) in the hours leading up to sleep 'Is this real or a dream?' This is called a reality check or an RC. If you do it enough you might find yourself asking the same question in a dream. Once you realize it is a dream the fun begins. I also find that visualizations while falling asleep help considerably. Good luck to you!

DILDs may be the easiest, but they almost never work.

Look up WILD on this site. It's the best way to get into lucid dreams.

Everyone has a different way of lucid dreaming. Me, for example, like DILD, DEILD, and WBTB. You can find them on the site. You have to be very patient with lucid dreaming. It took me 5-7 weeks to get my first lucid dream. Then I seemed to have more and more each week, and also don't get frustrated. Just because you almost had a lucid dream doesn't mean you have to get angry. Also get a lot of sleep so you can be more aware in real life, 8-9 hours should be enough. Also if you do get a lucid dream don't start to have sex all the time. It's a waste of time. I usually wake up when I start to "do it" if you know what I mean. Just try to stay away from the ladies. There are many techniques that you could try that could work. WILD has always been hard for me but it might not be for you. And if you have great (you can remember 3-4 dreams a night) recall. I would recommend DEILD.

If you have any questions feel free to ask!
