      Why is this happening?

      Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone here can help me out. I have been a lucid dreamer scince I was about 4 years old, however I usually have lucid dreams about once a week, my problem is whenever I relize I am dreaming For some reason I always wake myself up. The counting thing to get you to lucid dream doesn't work either. Maybe I just need to stop the constant flow of thoughts in my brain, but how do I do that???? I was just looking for some input. I hope someone can help me.

      I bet you are getting to excited, so instead of getting excited and waking up i would look at your hands or at the floor stand on the spot to stabilize the dream for awhile and just calm down. Hope it helps
