Question How do I go into a lucid from SP?

I heard that you cant always go into a lucid from SP, but it seems weird if your awake the whole time. How can you go into a dream from SP?

yea it seemed like WILD technique should work 99% of the time (sure there's false awakening too).
I've been curious to know how the entrance to lucid through SP works too.

I saw a guide that said if you open your eyes during SP and hallucinate, that means you're in a dream/deep sleep and should realize that you're dreaming. And when you close your eyes...you are INSTANTLY in a lucid dream <-- yea i was shocked on how simple it sounded lol. Can anyone explain it more, or it is really that simple xD.

      But back to topic...
The only thing i took into consideration is maybe the REM cycle.
The sweet spot Lucid/dreaming occurs mostly (to be safe) REM period.
Maybe you have to SP at the right time to get lucid.
Like you could have missed the REM train and it wont come for a while xD.

Just relax, and wait. Should start seeing things that materialize and become "real" around you. Even if you wake up from the SP, don't move! Just lie there and wait and relax.

OP are you talking about SP from attempting to WILD (actual REM atonia)? or SP that people will sometimes wake up into in the middle of the night? They are two very different things.

When you enter SP through the WILD technique the most important thing to do is keep calm and wait. Eventually you will just be cast into a dream. Don't open your eyes no matter what sounds you hear, I heard something trying to bash the door to my bedroom. Over a few minutes everything will just appear around you. I thought I woke up the first time, but I did a reality check and realized I was dreaming.
      Patience is key.

Ok if you can induce sp, then the hard part is over, all you have to do keep your eyes closed and dont move and as soon as sp starts to come along (when you get the loud ringing noise etc.) you just visualize the dream and it will fade from black to light and voila, your dream just formed around you. Its soooooooo simple, very very simple technique. The hard part is to actually be able to stay still and relaxed, everything after that is easy. Once you feel sp coming you pretty much know that youve succeeded.
