      The Digital Watch Effect

i know a lot of people will recommend wearing a digital watch for reality checks because the clock will go crazy when you look at it while dreaming. I was wondering what else would be good to look at. Hands are good to start with but when you keep doing the hand check your dreams catch on and you always have 5 fingers. what else is something good to wear or maybe keep in your pocket?

Looking at a piece of text and then looking back to see if it's changed is another thing. Although I've found the best for me is to pinch my nose and try to breath through it, whilst constantly asking if I'm dreaming. If you can then you are dreaming.

I have this problem, I used to carry around a piece of cardboard with "Reality Check" written on it and I never thought to pull it out in my dream (This might work for you though, ClockWork), I don't see clocks or mirrors (I hear mirrors are a good one too). But now that I've started attempts at LDs again I guess I just haven't been doing RCs for long enough yet.
