I am about to use autosuggestion to get a lucid dream what should I do?

Okkkkkkkkk. . . IN order to get a lucid dream I am going to start autosuggestion. But I don't know what I should do it for if I should try for a DEILD or just LUCID???
Also with DEILD if I do happen to wake up alot after dreams(thats my starting goal) Will I eventually be able to wake up with out autosuggestion?

So should I try DEILD or LUCID???
      Lucid:1
      DILD:1 MILD:0 DEILD:0
      Working on: DEILD

It's hard to say which one to try because everyone is different. I advise you to try both and see which one you perfer. Try saying to yourself "I will realise when I'm dreaming" or "I will become lucid during a dream." If that does'nt work try something like "I will wake after every dream" and try to DEILD.

Try to build up to lucidity. Start up with auto suggesion that improves recall, then when you got tohat to work, try something harder, like lucidity.

I think you are confusing DEILDs with MILDs. a DEILD is a shortened WILD, A MILD is... http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ead.php?t=1885

Autosuggestion, is where you suggest something (hence the 'suggestion' part) to yourself (hence the 'auto' part).

Like, if I were to go around all day, saying, "I will have a lucid dream tonight", my subconscious might just pick up on it. And I might just have a lucid dream that night. Or you could use it for something else like to have better dream recall, or to wake up after your dreams like the OP.

It even works for things bedside lucid dreaming, you could walk around saying to yourself "I want to get better grades" and you might subconsciously start to try harder at school.

Actually wouldn't start with it. Much too unreliable for most people. Only relevant for some that are a lot more susceptible to it than others. Start with MILD.

yeh i try autosuggestion all the time. you have to believe and have faith that it will work when saying it. and it DOES work! most of the time if u have belief and that.

Try visualizing yourself holding up a sign that reads 'Are you dreaming?" This method takes advantage of the fact that we imagine and dream in the same section of our brains... the secondary visual cortices (collectively called the secondary visual cortex). This is a method that I use quite often in both MILD and WILD. If you are trying to induce a LD upon awakening at a dream's end visualize the dream itself while telling yourself you will become lucid. Good luck to you!
