Thread: is there somehwere i can dl a wav file that...

I made a wav file that said: "You might be dreaming. Have you done a reality check?" But didn´t have any luck incorporating it into the dream. I´m gonna try it again tonight but with an order for myself, such as: "Do a reality check! You´re dreaming!" I'm guessing it didn't work yesterday cuz it's volume was too low or maybe it wasn't demaning enough, i dunno. I'm still experimenting with it. Anyway, I used a mic, CoolEdit200 and exported it to a mp3 file. I then loaded the mp3 to my mp3 player and put it into a playlist with the sound of falling water and put it playing on shuffle. My voice would play roughly every 2 minutes or maybe 1 and a half minutes or so.

Anyway, the thing you saw on TV about ghosts was probably incorporated to your dream due to what´s called Dream Incubation. It was your last thought (ghosts) so you dreamt about it.

thanks, maybe i'll try that...i could dl a trial version of cooledit pro maybe. ideally i'd have something burned to an 80 minute cd, and i'd record silence for about 30 mins (because i seem to go into dreams really quickly most of the time, maybe because my sleep isnt all that regular) then something that says "youre dreaming" for a few minutes, then 30 more mins of silence, ect. about ghosts being my last thought-maybe this time, but theres been times when my bf came home and turned on the tv when i was already sleeping, and the program he was watching was incorporated into my dream. if the volume is loud enough, it will affect my dream, its happened numerous times..thats why i'm interested in making a "youre dreaming" cd...i'm hoping it will make it into my dreaming consciousness and i'll realize hey-i AM dreaming!
