Is there any online timer for telling you that you're dreaming?

I was thinking of something along the lines of the program waits a certain amount of time before it starts playing an audio telling you that you're dreaming. I got the idea from this guide.

2.6 I got it from. It just so happens I have a computer next to my bed and I think I can preform a lucid dream this way. Is there any programs like this? Also how likely do you think this will work?

I think it would be too hard to get functioning. The times when you go into REM sleep aren't exact, and they will vary in length, several times through the night. You best bet would probably be to use something like the Zeo to figure out in general how long it takes you to enter REM and roughly how many episodes per night, and how long. Then use the data as a guide.

I didn't think about that, I will try what you suggested. Now I am just trying to do a nap induced lucid (still got like and hour and 28 minutes left) I am just trying to find a solution because I am having a hard time lucid dreaming.

It wouldn't be too hard to make a program where you supply it with the times you think you will be in REM at or whatever it is you want and get it to play sounds, I could make a simple one if there was enough interest.

there is an iphone add, that you can set wha time you sleep and wake up and you can set it how often you want it to remind you, and every now n then itll play "im dreaming right now" an theres heaps of diffrent messages you can choose from.

some hav success with it i tried few times and didnt work, even tho i usually hear real life sounds around me like people talking in my dream and i wake up so i dont undrestand why it didnt work.
