are you sure ? because every DEILD tutorial i have read states that you simply must not move after awaking from a dream, no tutorial has ever said that it must be after a lucid dream.

Thanks for the FILD suggestion, i will take a look into it.

going back to DEILD subject, theoretically, why isnt it possible to do after a normal dream? it should be possible...i mean, it's just a faster WILD, brain is still in REM state brainwaves, body is in SP.

im sure many people have said that they do DEILD after normal non lucid dreams..

      anyways thanks for the replies!

Yeah deild is usually a technique to continue or "chain" the lucid dream.
But it can be used as a induction technique too.
My succesful deild attempts were often after a WBTB.
so when I realise that I have woke up and woke up with closed eyes, I just listen for strange sounds or looking for strange images if I see them I amplify them by concentrating more on them and when they are strong enough I just get out of bed becaue then I have fell asleep again and are dreaming.

I don't do deild now anymore, now I use normal DILDs because my dreams are vivid enough for me to almost become lucid every night. But for you I really recommend the School of out of body experience book, which explains deild in every detail.

That can be found in this thread:
