everything in my dreams seems to be kingdom hearts related. so i looked back in my dream journal to the date i had a lucid dream and the time period in which i had a bunch of dreams i remember. febuary 20th. march 2nd. march 4th, and april 1st. thats a fairly close together time period.

and then i seem to remember the dreams stopping a while after that.

and thats when it hit me. i finally lined the pieces up, ~~yours and mine~~ (get the reference)

that timespan was the exact period in which i played kingdom hearts 2 almost every night before bed. now what is significant about that? well all of those except the lucid remained in a kingdom hearts gameplay style, like a dream game. all of them had kingdom hearts similar music in the background and kh- like characters in them.

but when i finally had had my share of kingdom hearts, aka doing everything possible, it was all revealed. the answers to my questions about how to dream were answered.

could it be possible that kingdom hearts could be the thing that helps me remember me dreams? not just saying theres something magical about kingdom hearts. but what im trying to say is that could something you really enjoy doing where you can control like a dream in a 3d environment boost the chance of lucid dreaming and of dream recall?

if you all do not know the answer, i will find out. im going to make a new file and continue playing every night. eventually, when i finish, im going to look back. if i have remembered a ton more dreams than i usually do (which is like... 0 until today), then we will have the answer.

of course it could be a mindset thing, but if so then im okay with that, seeing as how i enjoy kh and dreaming.

The answer is yes and it doesn't have to be specifically kingdom hearts. Anything that you immerse your awareness in heavily will pla a dominant role in your dreams.

If you like Kingdom Hearts alot, you will dream about it

all of them that have come out in america, but the one i seem to be mainly focused on is 2.
this is very good then. i now have a very noticeable dream sign to rely on.

I have a similar dream sign. I played a lot of Bad company 2 for a while early on this year, from december to now. In case you don't know, it's a war game, with soldiers and tanks and guns and helicopters. I pilot helicopters mostly.

Since then, 4/5 nights I would dream of at least one aspect of Bad company2. Whether there is a chopper in it, or the soldiers and in it, or I dream that I am on one of the maps. Yet I never noticed them in a dream and became aware. It's quite frustrating. Such a reliable and common dreamsign and it doesn't work. And I don't know why.

So yeah, KH, BC2, or really anything you think about a lot will carry over to your dreams. Especially games and movies, as you can easily lose yourself in them.

I mentioned lucid dreaming to a friend not too long ago. He plays Call of Duty quite a bit. He mentioned about how he runs through maps knifing people. I told him that should be his dream sign. He said that he remembers a lot of his dreams and most of them are Call of Duty related when he begins, but moves on to more sporadic imagery and plot. Which seems to be normal in dreams. He had a lucid dream the same night I mentioned it. He was running around the field of the game and suddenly realized it wasn't a game, he was there, so did the reality checks I had taught him then started rubbing his hands together and they caught fire. It was too overwhelming to stay calm and the dream had ended after "spawning a spaceship around a corner", lol.

tried it last night, didnt have a lucid but i had a dream, remembered maybe 40% of it (thats a start for me) but then i forgot to write it down and fell back to sleep. shoot

I have my phone by me, so when I wake up I can type out words for my dream, to help me remember while the screen BURNS MY EYES

LOL..yeah i tried that before and was light a gremlin "bright light, bright light" lol so i decided to stick to the old pen, paper and very very dull light

ha i suppose ill try that origami. my lamp doesnt work so when i wake up i cant turn any lights on
so tomorrow i will proceed to use my phone instead
