Pretty much most of my LD's are simply by becoming aware. I don't need to look around to do reality checks because as soon as the awareness enters me I know for sure it's a dream. I stopped doing reality checks awhile ago and began doing what I call "awareness checks" where through out the day instead of remembering to do a RC, stopping and looking at a clock to see if it changes or other RC's, I'll just become aware and know right away whether it's real or not. I follow this by keeping this awareness for as long as I can (what I call lucid waking) until I lose it back into human robot or day dream mode. it's basically the same thing as a reality test as in becoming aware has the same kind of feeling as remembering to do a RC but when I become aware in the dream I know right away it's a dream. There's occasions where I'll still believe I'm in real life and have to take another look to make sure.
I'll also just know I'm dreaming out of nowhere it seems. Like one second I'm dreaming and the next I fully know I'm dreaming.
I never new it was called A.I.R.E.
I figure maybe it's becauase I've had so many LD's that I'm learning to know what the dream world feels like so when I'm in it I'll realize I'm dreaming.
