      Am I Doing This Right?

I have been using Puffin's idea of awareness to try and attain lucidity. Here's what I do - I developed certain times to focus on awareness.

ex, any time I sit down on a couch/chair/any piece of furniture, I focus on how gravity pulls me down. I focus on how the object feels against me.

Any time I get up to walk somewhere, I focus on how the surface feels against my feet. I focus on how gravity pulls me down after I lift myself up.

All I am looking for is the easiest way to become lucid, and if this is not it, may someone please point me in the right direction?

Also, I had a dream the other night, and in it I was shooting people. I saw the bullets go into their bodies, and round patches of blood seep onto their clothes, however, they were not being affected. It occurred to me in the dream that this was not normal, and I even said to myself "I am in a dream." but I didn't become lucid. Why is that?

Sounds like your using ADA right, though there are other things you can do along with that, such as RC's. Not to mention the various induction methods there are ofc. MILD might help you out a bit, also DILD, which is what you almost kinda did. I can't explain why, but I've had those before as well, knowing I'm dreaming but not being lucid oddly enough. Such as the other night when I was smoking some weed in my dream and thought to myself I better smoke it all cus I won't have it when I wake up. Pretty lame when that happens >.<

You have the right idea for your daytime practices. Now, try to come up with a plan for your night time practice. Chose a few days a week to try a Wake Back To Bed paired with MILD or WILD.

How is your dream recall? Are you remembering at least one or two dreams per night?

Would you be able to direct me in the proper area to learn about a WBTB or MILD/WILD combo, or advise a suitable course of action?

I am remembering at least one dream per night, yes. The one I had yesterday had four different segments to it. I had to embellish some parts of it to connect it all, however.
