      Watching My Dreams

I've got a problem. I've noticed this recurring issue in my dream journal. I seem to 'WATCH' many of my dreams, as an outsider. Not part of the dream at all. Basically, it would be like I'm watching TV.

I've come to expect anything to be 'normal' or 'able to occur' on TV, so I don't question it's reality. Because of this, dreams like these seem to go by without awareness, much easier than ones where I am actually taking part in the dream. I'd say these 'watching' dreams are between 25% - 50% of my dreams.

I've yet to DILD from one of these outsider type dreams.

Are there any tips on these types of dreams?

If you were to become lucid during one of these dreams, where, and how would I 'be'? Would I just 'be'? Would I pop into the dream? Would I become one of the characters that I was watching?

I found an old thread from '06 about this same issue, but nothing came of it for the guy, and there wasn't any real clear advise. http://www.dreamviews.com/f12/watching-dreams-20290/

Yeah, I know that's a possibility. I've only ever recognized one dream sign before though. I guess that's my only option. I do watch a couple hours of tv a day, so I'm really going to have to be aware during that time, and do reality checks. It might work.

I've been dreaming like this for years, but never really went through all my past dreams, and saw how often it really was. I've been keeping a dream journal since 2006/2007 (with a few brakes here and there), and it goes back to when I first started.

Interesting question however I can tell you after 100's of lucid dreams that I am... me (in a lucid dream) I just have the ability of a superhero. I don't assume a character. There are rare times when I have been in spirit form (without a body) but i am still quite aware of who I am.
