Well....i had it once or twice. I was walking in my house (in the dream, of course), everything was perfectly normal, exactly like real life, then it suddenly popped into my mind..."hey! i AM dreaming!"...but i woke up a few seconds later...darn... |

I've always noticed lots of individuals doing RC's and other techniques to check wether or not they are dreaming. My question to you all is.. Can anyone go into a dream straight without the support of WILD, DILDS, or anyother forced dream recognition and realize that they are in this dream without Any help? For instance you're in your dreamworld and everything is normal and for no particular reason you know automatically that this is a dream just because of the simple feeling. |

yup, sometimes it just hits ya. You realize it, and then you can either take over, or just go along for the ride. Either way, its alot funner when you actually know your dreaming, that you're imortal. |

Long you live and high you fly
And smiles you'll give and tears you'll cry
And all you touch and all you see
Is all your life will ever be.

Recurring dream problem: Driving a car with no breaks.
I've experienced this on a couple of occasions. One minute I just casually notice that something's different or I'll "feel" somehow different and wham I realize I'm lucid. There's no need to do a reality check.. I just KNOW that I'm dreaming. |
|
Actually, this seems to be how I get lucid most of the time. |

Yes, definitely. I just get that "dream feeling", and I know that it's a dream. Doesn't happen often enough to suit me, but that's usually how I get LDs. |

This is great that there are quite a few people who has what I like to call[size=18] A.I.R.E also known as Auto-Instictive Recognization of Envionments. Yup without help, you just know. Anyway there is something else special that goes along with this ability to acknowledge automatically within the Lucid World. Something very special I'll let you guys in on it.... |

Pretty much most of my LD's are simply by becoming aware. I don't need to look around to do reality checks because as soon as the awareness enters me I know for sure it's a dream. I stopped doing reality checks awhile ago and began doing what I call "awareness checks" where through out the day instead of remembering to do a RC, stopping and looking at a clock to see if it changes or other RC's, I'll just become aware and know right away whether it's real or not. I follow this by keeping this awareness for as long as I can (what I call lucid waking) until I lose it back into human robot or day dream mode. it's basically the same thing as a reality test as in becoming aware has the same kind of feeling as remembering to do a RC but when I become aware in the dream I know right away it's a dream. There's occasions where I'll still believe I'm in real life and have to take another look to make sure. |

All of us go down slow and then we rise again
just like a tide out at sea we lower and rise again
I never do reality checks or anything, but allways attempt WILD. |
|
Almost all of my LDs have spontaneously come about in this way. I occasionally perform reality checks just to clarify the fact I'm dreaming to myself, but never to get lucid. I can remember only one time I got lucid with some other method, my only successful WILD. |

once youve had enough LDs you can just feel when your dreaming, but you have to already be concious in the dreamstate, I have felt that I was dreaming quite a few times, but I always have to do a reality check before attempting to fly or something, |

~I wake up a little more every time I dream.

Yeah, to me this is like one of the greatest awareness that one can possibly posses. It an undescribeable feeling thats over you when you acknowledge this dreamworld without the help of anything. It's just Baam! it hits you. To me this is the best way to obtain Lucidity. When I was younger I used to have RC's before I knew what it really was but there was a certain dream where the same character would do the same thing over and over again, thus I knew I was dreaming. And Now its like when you're in the dream I don't know the atmosphere feels thicker or something. Not saying there is really an atmosphere but it's just a indescribeable feeling. I know you all can relate.... |
