      External Dream Sign (EILD)

I feel that I am aware enough to realise that something weird is happening, because I am very aware of my dreams and they tend to be very vivid.
Even though I don't think the technique one you use to get lucid dreams is what matters, it can't hurt to try other ways of inducing one.
So now I am going to try the EILD.

Have anyone else tried this technique?

And to make sure that my subconscious doesn't trick me that I am still dreaming I need a really logical and clear message. Do you have any suggestions?

I am thinking of "Look at your hands you are dreaming!" or "This is not a joke, you are dreaming!"

I am going to use my speaker-pillow so if it's true that you hear outside sounds while you are dreaming, then I am definitelly going to hear this message.

I usually DEILD, but if I fail the attempt, it sometimes leave me tired the rest of the day, and it's not worth risking that.

      Thanks for your help =)

Yea I'd like to experiment with this as well, having a track playing that just says something like "You are dreaming!".
You'd have to put it on a timer or something to come on after falling asleep.

      The questions I have are:

How loud should I make it?
      How often should it repeat?

      Not working at all.
sometimes when you're about to wake up, you can hear outside voices, and integrate them in your dream as dream scene.
Ex: you hear a music in radio, and in your dream you're in a live concert, singing the same music.
the problem here is; even if you realised it's dream you'lll wake-up. because it's END of rem
      no sig

Hehe it's not me suggesting a technique, it's me requesting the sentence I will hopefully hear But I think I am going to play it after 6 hours when I usually WBTB and then have it on 2 minutes repeating, and obviously it's is loud enough to me to hear it.

I use my pillow speaker with my Iphone Alarm app (12, 24 Alarm Clock)

Ok, but people who have tried it have said that they did hear the sound in their dreams, but the problem wasn't that they woke up or something like that, the problem was that the dream made them believe that it was something else, like you said they think it's a concert or something like that. At that is why I am requesting a CLEAR message so I can try this out, but I guess I will just have to experiment with this and if I succesfully hear the message, then I am at least on the right way.
