You can see hypnagogic imagery even when going to sleep in the evening, and it happens sometimes. |

Last night I decided to try the WILD technique without doing the 5-6 hours of sleep first since I am very impatient. I got myself very relaxed and tired and just closed my eyes and focused on my breathing. I started seeing the flashes of light and little pictures, but I got too excited and came out of it. Is it possible to have a successfull WILD without sleeping first? |

Thanks. I guess i'll have to be patient next time and do it the right way. I've only had one lucid dream in my life when I knew what lucid dreaming was and I controlled it, but that was about a year ago. I pretty much stopped trying lucid dreaming when school started, but I'm gonna try really hard this summer. |

Yea, actually you can go WILD but it's vividness is too low...and usually when you try to control it you wake up |

The whole sleep 5-6 hours just doesn't work for me.. |

Alot of times I see flashes of light and other hypnogic(sp?) stuff before going to sleep, but once I saw this bright flash of light a couple of times and I was like "WTF is going on!?!" then I heard a bunch of thunder and I realized it was lightning flashing in my window lol |

Dude everytime i have tried it after sleeping i just fall my ass back to sleep but when i have tried it as i fall asleep at night i have gotten much much farther i feel all numb and lose sense of my location then see things and by then i usually get real excited and my heart starts to race and i fade back to reality. |
