      Nick Newport idea?

In one of his vids he talked about his timer method where you do nothing but go to sleep and set up timers in a repetitive fashion so your brain eventually expects to be woken up at the same time but after a few times, set it for a longer wait time and hopefully you will become lucid at the time your brain THINKS the timer will go off... I know that probably made no sense but ill put a link to the vid down below.

I've tried this method with extremely limited success. I either don't hear the timer or get woken up and unable to enter a dream. Here's a timer you can use.

Should I say that such forced, continuous awakening is extremely disruptive to your sleep pattern? Yes, I think I will put it out there just in case
