      Was this a LD?

Last night I think I may have had my first LD. The technique i used was MILD. Slept at around 12am and woke up at 6 30 and did the method before bed and after waking up.

So in my dream I found myself in a classroom writing a test or something. I had a dream similar to this earlier in the night so I thought it could be a dream so I tried blinking twice and the words on the test changed. This affirmed my thoughts but just to make sure I tried putting my fingers through the palm of my hand. The first couple of times it didn't work but when I erased all the doubts from my mind it went straight through. This confirmed, for me, that it was a dream. However, next time I looked up after that the classroom was gone and I was in farm fields with high tall green grass. The first thing I did was look at all my hands and the all the details and yelled things like, "Increase clarity". The dream got clearer and I decided to explore. I tried flying and got up decently high but fell and crashed thus waking me up. I'm aware of false awakenings and attempted a reality check which confirmed that I was indeed awake. Was this a LD? And if it was why did it end so abruptly even after stabilization?

Yeah! If you realised you were dreaming then it was a lucid dream, well done!
Sometimes the dream will just slip away, it tends to get easier the more LDs you have, but try to remind yourself to focus on stabilising all the time or it slips.

The only reason I have a slight amount of doubt is that when I woke up, it felt like I had been awake all along with absolutely no grogginess, or time needed to actually "wake up". Is that how it is when you wake up from a LD?
