      Problems again...

Well lately I haven't been able to become lucid. Thing is I can't realize I'm dreaming 'cause everything is TOO real. For instance, in one of my dreams I was chatting... no blurry screen, no blurry letters, nothing. In another I was in my car and I turned on the headlights and they worked. I know you can't change light levels in the room you are in, but can you do that??? Another one is that I have been able to run... no running in water feeling. Its frustrating!!!!

well, you could carry around a watch with you that chimes every hour, and perform reality checks everytime you hear it chime. hopefully, if you hear it while sleeping, you'll perform a reality check and notice you're dreaming. you say everything appears too real thus you cannot determine that you are dreaming; if you were to be reminded to perform a reality check while dreaming, you could likely do something or notice something that otherwise would not be possible in the waking world.
Each new day is a chance to turn it all around.

Man if only it were that simple... Yesterday I did become lucid for about a second then I had a false awakening in which I wasn't lucid... I've tried the watch thing before, but I am a really heavy sleeper, sometimes even my alarm won't wake me up, even at max volume.

Again, I highly prefer Abre los Ojos over Vanilla Sky.
