Does anyone use subliminal tapes or CD's to LD?

I was just wondering if anyone has used subliminal tapes or CD's to help induce LD's. If so, did it work, and where is a good place to find them. I've noticed some places on the internet that sell subliminal tapes and CD's specifically for Lucid Dreaming.

      Hrmmm, never tried these....

I'm going to move this to "Attaining Lucidity" where you may have better luck with answers.

Well, I remember there was once this tape we listened to when I was still in PE... & it kind of helped you position into a WILD (almost made me S**-**)....& Splash almost WILDed for the 1st time from it, but they wouldn't let me buy it from them.... If there is anywhere that sells that tape, it will be mine!!

I've found that listening to subliminal cd's dramatically increases my dream recall, but can't say that it's helped me become lucid because I'm still struggling to become lucid anymore than about one a month.

If you are interested in subliminal CD's though I would suggest you just buy the software to make them yourself, as you can turn any music file you have into a subliminal sound that way and create several files to listen to, that way not getting bored by listening to just one of two cd's.

The programs I am using to do this with are shareware programs by Goldware (www.goldwave.com) that sell for about $50 each.

The program I can use to make subliminals with is Multiquence, as it allows you to add as many sound files together that you want and adjust the volume of each sound.

To make a subliminal CD you just add a talking file with your suggestions that you can create using a free Text To Speech reader program you can find at http://www.naturalreaders.com/ (Just download the free version because it works fine),
and then add the music file you want to blend your text file with. Then adjust the volumes of each file by having your music file at a high volume and your text file with the subliminal messages at a low volume. Its as easy as that and you can make as many subliminal mp3 or wav files as you want.

The other program by Goldwave which is called Goldwave is good for adding any kinds of effects that you want to your sounds, like an echo, reduce or increase the volume, etc.

It will take a bit of time to learn how to use the programs as I think I spend about a weekend learning each program, but once you learn how to use them you no longer will be depended upon someone elses subliminals because you will be able to make your own and experiment with different suggestions to see which ones work the best for you.

If you can't wait or don't wish to learn how to make your own sublminal cd's I found the ones sold by Mind Saturation Systems to be fairly good, as for about $25 you get 3 cd's, one of which is a sublminal cd, one which is a cd to listen to at night, and one which is a trance cd.

      Good luck.

I've only slightly experimented with subliminal things that claim to induce lucidity or whatever and i would do them but i wouldn't notice any changes in my dreams at all.

There is a chance that whichever one you choose, it might not work, or it could be a psychological thing. You never know. try it, but i dont really recommend relying heavily on it.
