      Have I LD'ed before?

This happened to me about a month ago, before I even knew about lucid dreaming, or being able to control your dreams.

I was having a good dream, a very good dream that I didn't really want to end when I woke up that morning. So I laid in bed, thought about the dream in detail ( ) and eventually drifted back to sleep. This time, I knew I was dreaming, but decided to just keep on doing what I was doing before.

Would this example be MILD, WILD, or something completely different?

This could be a good example of MILD. You induced the dream to re-occure from a waking state by your thouht process. Then again I guess it would kinda depend on the length of time you were awake also. usually you can drift right back into the same dream after being awake from the initial dream within 5 or 10 minutes of that dream. Thats a tricky one. But It would definately be more MILD than WILD thats for sure.

I'd say it would be a MILD to. WILD's are always accompanied by either vibrations, Hypnogagic imagery or sleep paralysis, but it seems like you didn't experience any of those.

Curiosity killed the cat but at least it didnt die an ignorant bastard
