      a wierd feeling, was it pre-lucidy?

      last night i had this wierd feeling. i was on the very verge of falling asleep so i kept telling myself i am dreaming. well during this wierd feeling it was like my whole body was numb and heavy, and it felt like i was about to fall and start floating. but b/c i was concentrating on trying to lucid, i couldnt fall asleep, i cant fall asleep unless my mind wanders to various things that i want to think about. any help??

      It sounds like you were entering sleep paralysis (SP), which means you were right on the verge of a WILD. I have gotten that far a few times, but have never successfully entered a lucid dream from that state. I'm sure that some other members could give you some tips on how to get into a lucid dream from that state.

      intresting. ohmigod a big loser like me had WILD! w00t! well anyway, it seems really hard to actually go into lucid dreaming from that feeling, its so wierd!! like im so concentrated on trying to LD i cant go all the way asleep!!
