      Exclamation Just a Question

Alright! So 2 days ago i heard about lucid dreaming and wanted to be able to do it. So i read up on it, got my dream journal, learned techniques and everything. So 2 nights ago i tried to remember my dreams and could not. This morning however, i woke up, sat there and thought, and these random images started popping into my head.

I presume these to be dreams since there were all different situations with different people.I wrote them all down in my journal and it was nice because i told myself i would remember before i went to bed and it worked! But here is my question.

Lucid Dreaming is where you find out your in a dream and then you can fly and do stuff like that. Since i only remembered my dreams when i woke up, i dint actually experience them like i would if i had DIRECTLY woken up from the dream i was in. If i directly awaken from a dream, i remember myself walking and talking and experiencing it, but i didnt not with these three dreams that i just remembered. Does this change as i get better and dream recalling? and if it does and i attain lucidity in my dreams, will it actually be like im living in my dream and can move, walk and talk, fly and do whatever?

I would strongly appreciate any answer from anybody that has been lucid before.
      Thanks for your time,
      Lach

Yea once your recall gets better dreams will start feeling longer and more like they're happening in the moment rather than just being a memory of scenes, and you'll wake up right after the dreams so it feels like it was just happening. At least for me and I'm pretty inexperienced with being lucid, when I am lucid it feels like it's going on right at the moment, so when I'm flying it's like I'm actually doing it.

Agreed with fuzzman. The more you can recall of your dreams the more real they seem and more "in the moment" as you put it. Persistence is the key, and you are off to a good start!
