First WILD Attempt - what next?

So, I think I've made a lot of progress in the last few months since I decided to start pursuing lucid dreaming. I now know most of my prominent dream signs and common scenarios. And I have managed to become lucid for a short time on a few occasions.

Last night I tried my first WILD and I think I almost had it. I only stayed up for about 10 minutes and did some equations in my head. Maybe that wasn't long enough?

Anyway, I definitely stayed conscious throuout some very abstract visuals (wierd faces, and strange surroundings). But I could not hold on to it and fell fast asleep.

What should I do when I get to that stage to keep from completely passing out again? I've read some of the tutorials, but they do not address this specific stage of relaxation.

      THNX!

      Thats an excellent question.

I just never thought anyone could fall out of WILD into an unconscious dream mode. Im usually too excited to even lose the connection. What I could suggest is keep focuse on your visual and audio and keep telling yourself over and over again to stay alert stay focused Now there is another obstical which is major. Its once you get into your Lucid Dream world its very easy to lose your Focuse at the initial phase. So once you fall into your Dreamworld make sure you are still saying stay alert.. Good luck.
