the WILD lack of Vibrations, and HI

I've had over 40 lucids so far, and usually could manage to have one every other day when i slept more than 8 hours, however lately ive been getting bored of that, so i turned to WILD. Since i have done it, and read many many many forum topics on it, it is odd to see how so many people have gone furthur in it. I still havent gotten to the point of vibrations, or even HI and only once got audio. I find i lie there for hours, and the blobs of HI come and go but stay nothing more than that.

Only my hands go numb, but never paralyzed. I find that when im doing it, i mentally picture and day dream and wonder if that is a bad thing? I always get distracted by it but never physically see it, i just know the images going on. I want to WILD! haha.

      1) are there any tips anyone has to offer?
      2) Is it best to STARE at the blobs of light or to somewhat ignore them (lots of forums say different things).
      3) Should i have experienced vibrations by the 20th time i tried WILD?
Its not until you lose everything that you are free to do anything

      Hi Sully,

I just finished reading a book called The Einstein Factor by Win Wenger, that teaches a technique called Image Streaming which is very similar to the WILD state in that a persons learns to relax and receive messages from their unconscious mind.

The book gives several methods for encouraging the image stream among which are things such as trying to feel things in your immediate environment, or an imagined environment with all five senses, taste, touch, smell, sound, sight, etc, and describing them outloud, as this gives feedback to your brain and encourages the image stream.

So far I've had fairly good success producing WILD's using this since the WILD state is so similar to if not identical to the image stream. Now if only I could start becoming more Lucid in my dreams.

tip. when u see the HI, feel your mind pulling towards it. almost feel like you are pushing with your head but without actually moving up and outward pysically. i find it can speed up a wild drastically, if u can figure out how to do what im saying anyway

I've read somewhere (forgot where) that HI tends to be hypnotic, and focusing too much on it will cause you to lose consciousness. I've also read that keeping your eyeballs still helps a lot... that being said, those two things seem contradictory. Perhaps you could focus on them for a bit to be closer to sleep if it's been a while, and then relax your eyes more and just notice they're there. Not too sure here...

I find it hard to keep my eyes completely still, cause I find they naturally sag downwards, until I reach a point of discomfort, and end up shifting them back up (centered)... It's annoying when I'm thinking about it, so I try not to.

well to tell the truth iv never seen "Hypnotic imagery" in my entire life, usually i just lay there focusing on my breathing (when attempting WILD) and i just keep laying there for what seems like hours then the next thing I know I’m in a dream, the transition is usually flawless and I never feel or see anything, usually i don’t even hear anything....

its really just about patience, that and knowing when you get up and go to bed. Here’s what I do:

first I go to bed good and early (about 9 PM)

then I WILD to bed, (I know this wont induce WILDs but its good practice)

I then have my alarm set for 6 hrs after 9 pm (3 am) so I wake at three, stay up for a good 20 mins then WILD to bed.

the time to stay up before WILDing is different for everyone really, the main thing is to feel like you need sleep but still be able to think straight, also you have to really, really, want and know your going to have a WILD
~I wake up a little more every time I dream.
