      My Mind adapting to RC's!

Hey, not sure if this has happend to any of you, but lately when i go lucid and have a false awakeneing...strange things happen. I wear contacts during the day, so usually when im lucid i can see fine all the time, even during a false awakening (which often makes me think im dreaming) and i wear a tshirt around my head to block the sun. Well i had a lucid and did the spin technique and of course, found myself in a false awakening.

I did the breath technique and noticed i could breath when blocked, so i was like sweet, and tried it again. SUPRISE, it didnt work. I was shocked so i looked at my alarm clock and it was blurry and i could barely see anything, i even had the tshirt over my head that i had to take off. I looked at the alarm clock 4 times and i couldnt tell if it was changing or not, because it didnt look like it, and some other times in false awakenings my alarm clock digits will be so hard to see because its like the sun is making a glare and i have to spin it around to finally see it. Crazy things like that happen and it makes it hard for me to realize its lucid, but now i know what to watch out for! anyone else have this?
Its not until you lose everything that you are free to do anything

Offcourse. There are times i do my favourit RC that always seems to work, but then it doesnt. Like text. Sometimes i read incredible stable text in LD. I check my digital watch, to see its kind of stable. But when this happens i tend to be in a rush in the dream and come to a logic conclusion that i must be awake. It goes up and down with how troughoutly i do them in the day. If i look at my watch long enough in a dream it will become unstable.

I hate it when that happens. You perform a reality check and it fails, depriving you of a lucid dream. The only reality check I've found to never fail me yet is to try floating, so from now on I am going to stick to it I think. Hopefully that won't fail me.
