I am not sure if I understand exactly how to do WILD. I have read the tutorial and I think I have an understanding of it.

When I was younger, I read a book "Mind over Matter." It was my Dad's psychology book that discussed the subconscious and getting in contact with it. It involved the person to lay down comfortably and clear the mind. You may be like this for an hour. Focusing on breathing, you slowly sink deeper into the subconscious. When I did it, I saw swirly colors before my shut eyes, felt weird sensations, and felt like my body was paralyzed or wasn't there. Is that WILD, but by another perspective?

When you are doing WILD, do you have to clear your mind? Or can you just lay there and hope you don't go to sleep? Thanks for the help.
