A good idea for a lucid dream!!!

What if you focus on a colorful ,vivid, artistic drawing on a piece of paper or sign that says "you are dreaming" for 20 mintues, Then when you dream you subconscious will recreate it and it will appear in your dream?

Sounds like a useful trick, though your subconscious might not replicate it as much. If you do it every morning and night it would work like in a similar way to an affirmation; the question itself should get ingrained into your subconscious so asking yourself if you're dreaming will be pretty much automatic in every-day life, which just so happens to be the aim of reality checking.

Actually, What if you carried the colorful drawing around with you all day and took a look at it habitually, Eventually you might see it in your dreams.

It would most likely work if you did it once a day for a few weeks+. One day, it COULD work but probably not. Give it a try! See what happens.

I would try to visualize that very sign as I drifted off to sleep!
