Hi, as well as having insomnia, I also sleep with my eyes open. I can be awake over a day straight (24 hrs) then sleep 11 hrs straight, then back to beign awake for long periods of time. |

i wake up with blood-shot eyes some times, usually my left-eye, and it has the same "curve" as my eyelid when it's a little open, so yeah, i actually think i do |

I have sleep with my eyes open once. I was watching tv and extremely stoned and tired. But the tv is what did it. I even remember what i could see on tv, and right outside(light level). I was waiting for the right time to wake up, it was wild. I thought of nothing else. |

Don't worry about this.. I think it's just a normal occurence between people which is called Microsleeping (I think). It happens to my friend too and I don't think it's anything to worry about |

make sure you buy eyedrops(use before and after bed, but don't get too attached to these, can be damaging aswell)... your eyes can become really dry and you can get eye damage. See an optometrist soon. There is a surgery that you may need, forget what its exactly called but they make a small cut inside your eyelid to make them fall down easier. What may be happening is that your eyelids aren't strong enough to shut properly. |
