All I could get from a nap where random images

I tried to take a nap one of these days to lucid dream.I don't like sleeping in the daytime, when I wake up I'm completely lost in which day it is,so I don't do it much, but tried because I really wanted to try to lucid dream.
I was trying to focusing, and then some scenes started to show, but I was very awake,it was some sort of orange bubbles in the darkness, those bubbles then became Earth seen from space, then a comet crashed in,causing a explosion, that turned into a huge waterfall, then it got zoomed in,the color scheme of the water was now turned into a big city, but with little details, like it were some type of drawing.I could not fall asleep, those pictures were all I got,so I'm dunno what to do next,I guess I got distracted by them.

It sounds like daytime napping isn't something you're used to. You have to feel sleepy to, well, fall asleep, in order to dream. I find daytime napping has an advantage where you're generally more aware than you are at 4 or 6am when trying to WILD and get much more dream imagery and semi lucids, like you had.

You could try getting less sleep for a few nights, then having a siesta to see if that helps.

Yeah...I'm gonna go ahead and tell you to NOT take this advice. Getting your 8 hours is very important to your mental health.
