      dream signs

After going back and reviewing my dream journal. I have found that I have at least three dream signs. Approximately 1 out of 4 of my dreams has one of the signs. My problem is that they do not trigger lucidity. All of my lucid dreams have been spontaneous. I have read the tutorials and I haven't found the specific info that I am looking for. Does anyone use dream signs to attain lucidity? If so how are you able to use them?

What are the dreamsigns? If it's something that occurs in real life, then you could train yourself to do a RC every time you see it.

Dreams signs, dont automatically make you Lucid..Dreams signs are reoccuring things that come up in your dreams--like you said--but what you have to do in your Dream when you see your dream sign is to ask yourself "Am i dreaming" or say "I must be dreaming" then you will become Lucid

My dream signs are, dreaming of working at my old job, my ex-wife and being late for work. Being late for work might be the easist one to do a RC for. I will start doing them on my way to work.

same boat as me dude. i have a few Dream Signs that are in almost ALL of my dreams but still no lucidity.

so far i just lay down some points during the day and tell myself "if i see my certain dream signs that i will become lucid, that is i will be consciously aware in my dreams"

i do that a number of times with each dream sign and then say in my mind "when i see those dreams signs i will perfom reality checks"

lastnight when i tried this my eyes started to REM. not sure if thats good or not but this is the only way i can figure out trying to link dream signs to lucid dreaming. i hope it works.

does anyone else have a method that has worked for them? or maybe no one else has done it yet.

I tend to have random dream signs. Sometimes I 'cotton on', sometimes i do not. I did have one where "Blackbirds" were pearched on a telephone wire....strange thing is that they repeated themselves ie, in groups of identicals. Very nice Lucid after that one.
