Just keep following the guides and take it easy, you've barely been doing it for a month and you've had a lucid dream, it takes some people over 3 months to get their first. You will get their if you just keep going with a determined attitude. |

You can't stay focused or you are becoming too excited or too anxious, it happens to almost every beginner. If you want to learn how to become more aware and focused in dreams you could try meditation but you still need patience, you could also try saying a mantra before sleep like "I will stay in my dream when I turn lucid". |

Thanks man ... im sure that will help me |

No problem man, if you need any advice or anything in-depth just PM me. |

I agree, just try to calm down and stay focused. Once you get the dream to last longer then a few seconds, you need to stabilize the dream. Here is a stabilization tutorial. |

I was experiencing very short lucids at one point of time in my life, probably as short as yours. The moment I realised I am in a dream, it lasted for mere seconds and it faded away before I could do anything. I think it was because I was scared once in my lucid dream so I became slightly afraid of it, which explains the short lucid. I let my lucid come naturally to me afterwards without forcing them, the most a few mantras occasionally. |
