Well, last night wasn't very successful, but I learned to use reality checks every time I get up.

Basically, after one of my dreams, I woke up and tried my best to remain still and keep my eyes closed. I drifted into sleep paralysis, but my dad woke me up, and even after I told him to give me 30 more minutes, I couldn't fall back into sleep paralysis, so I got up. I went down to my living room, everything appearing normal, and opened the door to my cousin. After greeting him, I woke up again, in my bed again, just like before. I was thinking "wtf is going on" so I did a reality check this time, and it failed, meaning it was reality. My dream I was just in seemed so real -- I had no clue it was a false awakening.

Aside from this, I have another question: Is it possible to become lucid by doing a DEILD during a false awakening? Say my dream dad didn't wake me up. Could I have fallen back sleep in my dream, resulting in another dream, only lucid?

Well it happened to me 2 days ago..I had a FA and then tried to DEILD,i felt like my blanket was against me or sth i dont know how to express it but i ended up on the floor next to my bed did a reality check and it worked..Same thing happened 3 times but onlv the 2 were lucid cause the 3rd time i moved my body and thought that would be waste of time to DEILD..That was a weird experience because i had never thought that this is possible..
