      Try these things:

      Reality Checks
While awake, perform a reality check when you see your hands or something. Look around and see if you are dreaming- look at clocks, see if they have weird numbers on them. See if the light switches work. Are mirrors acting as they usually do?

If you are lucky, you will perform this check in your dream and become lucid.

      MILD'ing
Set your alarm to go off either 1 and a half hours before you usually get up or 3 hours before you get up. Stay awake for 30-60 minutes, doing something to make your brain work again (read, exercise, meditate). Then go back to sleep, remember as much as the dream as possible, and with luck you will LD.

      Keep a journal
Write down all dreams. You may notice patterns that will help you become lucid in your dream.

      Spelling

I'd enjoy reading posts/helping people alot more if they tried to spell a bit more normal, sure everyone makes typos and yes I cant spell or do grammar as good as some others around here because English isnt my native tongue, but posts would be alot more pleasant to read if you just ended a sentence with one period, etc, ok?

Anyway, really do keep a journal, and a digital watch is very good to do reality checks (let it beep every hour, then check it twice to see if the numbers change!). For me it hasnt worked fully yet but I've been very close

Ah! So I've had like two lucid dreams before. But I never know that it was something I couldn't control, until I saw \"Waking Life\", and I got intrested. I usually always remember my dreams, and I have woken myself up before- and eve rsince I found out about lucid dreaming I've been trying to do it. When I wake up and I remember my dream I think \"how the crap didn't I know that was a dream?\". I just can't seem to get lucid again- I've tried MILD but I don't think I'm doing it right. It would be great if somebody could help me because I'm a little lost[/b]

Well of course the watch is going to change time. That's what watches do. I know what you mean.

      Oh, and welcome!

I have the same thing, some people are just naturals with noticing or realising its just a dream, others induce it trough WILDS and other stuff but the best thing I think is to be constantly aware... and after it has become a habit, you'll start to notice things in dreams.

ive had a lucid dream before...a long time ago, i could completely control my dream and do whatever i wanted, then i got excited and lost it, and ever since then ive had a few semi-lucid dreams, but they fade away quickly. With MILD(or WILD...i forgot which 1 is which) i just manage to keep myself awake, and when i do the other one i just manage to keep myself awake as well...i ask myself about 25x, "Am I dreaming?" so that maybe when im asleep, my subconscious will remember that question and i will ask myself in my dream...but that didnt work either...

You know, I was going to say "sort out your spelling", but then I decided that would be mean. Espcially as it would of been the first post.

(I hate when people spell like that. If you can call it even spelling).
