      Short bedtime sleep

      Hi,

I would like to ask you about your opinion. I tried LD like a year ago (but somehow I gave up, dunno why), but now I am into it again (I hope i will make it) and I have this little question. Do I have enough sleep to attemp WILD, WBTB or DEILD?
I go to bed around 20:00 - 20:30 then I listen to some meditative chanting for like 30 minutes and then I go sleep. I usually fell asleep around 22:00 I think and I automaticaly wake up about 1:30-2:30. Is it enough to try attempting "techniques" or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for answers and your opinions.

      Yo.
If you up that to roughly five hours of sleep you should be fine, five hours seems to be best minimum from what i know, though, it is still possible to do techniques from less than that if you can balance wakefulness/sleepyness from that.
      Good luck!

Not enough sleep can be a problem for sure. If you interrupt your sleep so early it's best to remain awake until you would normally wake up. Then take a brief nap before the attempt. Sleeping 7 hours and being awake for 1 hour is another pattern worth considering... if you're a beginner and normally gravitate toward 8-9 hours of sleep. At the end of the day, which of these two work better comes down to preferences in induction methods.
