      Short question about recall\sleep pattern.

      Hello everyone,

      Every night I have one long dream which I can recall very well and it always occurs around 5 am. Dreams I have before this one are much shorter and sometimes don't have a story line. Now, I know this is quite normal because of REM and the fact that remembering dreams is easier in the morning. But I always have one dream after the one at 5am, normally my last should be even longer and easier to remember but this is often the worst one of my night, fragments and nothing more. I go to bed around 21:30 and get up at 7, is it possible I am sleeping to long or something?

      I know this isn't a major problem, I was just wondering why my last dream isn't the easiest to remember, which it should be .

      You know, I seem to have this exact same problem. A possible explanation could be that you are getting ready to wake up just before 7 and so you don't remembr your dream as well because you weren't fully in REM anymore.
      Try waking up at 6:30 for a few mornings to see if that makes a difference.

      Been sleeping less long for the last couple of days and don't seem to have this problem anymore. Think sleeping for more than 9 hours every day is a bit to much for me and it isn't quality sleep anymore in the morning as you said.
