      My litte watch

So I've been getting use to this watch I have and I want to use it to becone lucid, so now I check it twice whenever I look at the time. Will this help me?

Bc I had a dream where I had a little panic attack bc I couldn't feel my watch, but I knew it was there. I checked it but I still remained dreaming. But whenever I dream my boyfriend is cheating on me or lying to me I become lucid. I think "oh no he really is using me!" Then I think "wait I'm dreaming, he wouldn't do that." Why is that? But my lucidity only last about a few moments before my dream changes and I lose my lucidness

It can definitely benefit you in becoming lucid. I'd suggest that every time you check your watch in waking life, try to move the hands/numbers/etc with your mind. You obviously won't be able to do it in waking life, but in the dream world the hands/numbers will move. Also, checking it twice is key. Check it once, and then on the second check, see if the numbers have changed or if the hands have moved on their own from the last time you checked. If they have, you are dreaming. So, check it twice, try to manipulate it with your mind on each check. Do this in reality and in the dream.

That's an interesting reality check and it can work. To add to what KingYoshi said, remember that not the reality check itself makes you lucid, but awareness that you get while reality checking properly. Don't do reality check as just mechanical action, right before doing reality check look around and completely believe that you might be dreaming, then put emotions into it, like 'Wow, am i dreaming?' and do reality check.

Just get a digital watch and check it all the time . stare at it for 5 seconds. in a dream your brain cant process digital clocks or words so it will go all weird then you know your dreaming ! . If the boyfriend thing happens again try looking at your hands this should make you lucid longer . inspected them and scratch your hand and feel the feeling of it . Also say increase clarity or increase lucidity vivid etc . What ever words work for you .
