      Question All Layer Zeros?

Okay it seems like i have to ask for some advice/opinion again.
For everytime i became lucid i cant help but feel like im experiencing one big layer Zero(watch ReeceJones87 for information). If i decide to do something specific before i go to bed and become lucid, i remember to do exactly that, but if i become lucid without expecting it the dream somehow leads me to do something and im in a kind of state where i know im in a dream but dont do anything with it(sometimes i dont even do RCs to confirm)

These are often dreams where im like 'hey, i dont have to do that im in a dream!' i accept the situation im in but somehow it just feels wrong. The dream doesnt become more vivid and i still cant think clearer than before. Since most of my lucid experiences are like that im getting kind of suspicious.
For a long time i thought it was something with my stability or my dream control but could it be my awareness? has someone experienced something similar? any tipps?

I believe there are no so called 'layers' in lucidity. What you are experiencing sounds like low awareness plus heavy lack of waking life recall.
To deal with lack of awareness, keep practicing your awareness. When you do reality check in waking life, do you do it just as mechanical action? If so, you need to do it as awareness practice, like before you do it look around and completely believe that you could be dreaming, also put emotions into it like "Wow, am i dreaming?" then do an RC itself, completely expecting it to show that you are dreaming. Also you could try ADA, many people have had success with increasing general awareness with it.

As for waking life recall, do you have a goal list of what to do in dream? If not, make one and read it every once in a while during the day and especially before going to sleep. Additionally you can write/type the more important goals somewhere right before going to sleep and/or use them in mantra while falling asleep, that helped me when i had this "Can't recall what to do, let's just go with dream storyline" problem.
      Good luck!

      Thanks for the quick answer.
well youre damn accurate with your analysys. i do near to none RCs during waking life and if i do its kind of like a zombie-action. Problem is i know its like that and i tackled this problem over and over again but it turns out the same every time: i start off with lots of RCs per day but as days go by i eventually check less and less becoming more zombie-like during the process. I tried lots of stuff to keep my RCs steady but well... here i am. I just lose my exitement for LDing and i cant do anything about it. Same goes for ADA. Got tipps for that too?? You would be my savior.

I will try the physical list of goals. i had some plans of course never minded to write them down though.

Vary. Learning does not come only with repetition and habits, it comes from applying the biggest number of contexts in order to experience something with several perspectives. Try several techniques, watch movies, use different reality checks, new exercises. Enter a competition (checker666 itself is organizing one!). Good luck ^^

If your problem is losing motivation, then you can try keeping it up by thinking about your plans on lucid dreaming more and i also suggest reading other people's DJs here on dreamviews, that's what kept my motivation when i was starting out. And as Zoth said you can try competition as well, here's sign up thread: http://www.dreamviews.com/general-lu...read-12-a.html
Here's also a couple more of threads that can help with motivation :

Also remember that more reality checks is not always better, quality > quantity to say. if you do not so much reality checks through the day, but do it properly, you should be still fine . As for ADA i haven't had much practice with it personally, but the tutorial i have linked in previous post should definitely help.
