      Increased awareness tips?

So, I know I should be constantly thinking about lucid dreaming and doing reality checks, etc., but I just can't seem to keep my mind on it throughout the day. I HAVE been pretty busy since I have an AP Government test in a few days, and school in general.

Anyway, if anyone has any tips on increasing everyday, all day awareness, it would be very helpful!
      Thanks!

I always keep in mind to only think about things that have to do with right here and right now. kind of like a mantra in my head that says here and now when my mind starts to wander. When I stay committed to it for a day, it pretty much guarantees atleast one good WILD/DILD that night.

One thing I like to do is when I move from house to work, and from work to house (sadly, nowadays it seems it's the only 2 trips I do ). I try to be aware of everything that happens during the trip, even trying to memorize certain elements of the scenario (like a bird on the wall, a person wearing a red hat, a cat passing by). I clear my mind let all this information become my only concern. When I arrive at my destination, I try to recall the trip and all the elements of it. Not only it's a good awareness exercise, it also helps your memory ^^

Huh... that's a really good idea, Zoth. Sounds like it would also help me be more alert in general, since my mind is always wandering off. I'll definitely try it! Thanks!

A good tip to help you to actually remember it through the day is to put something (A piece of text or an image) somewhere that you look often, for example, I use my phone.

I set up a message saying "Are you dreaming?" and the image in the background is a symbol created by dutchraptor which he relates to awareness. I use the symbol as my background because if my eyes overlook the message, then it acts as a secondary net, so to speak, to actually catch my attention and make me reality check.
