Thread: I had the greatest LD ever (and this is only my 2nd LD) !!!

On Saturday night I had the greatest LD I've ever had... even though its only been my second one. But let me just describe it. It was a very good LD.

Ok, it started when I was at school (this must be my dreamsign ). After it ended and stuff and everyone is outside trying to get home, I saw my big red trike on the sidewalk. Immediatey I just randomly said, "Now what is my trike doing here. This must be a dream!" I got really excited and kept saying if over and over.

I covered my eyes with my hands (cuz if I closed my eyes I'd wake up... I've done that alot before) and I shouted out, "Change this school to Sprucewood Elementary!" I have no idea why I said my old school... Anyways, when I uncovered my eyes it was indeed a different school. Now that I think about it it really didn't look like that school but more of a mix between my school and that school.

So this whole dream I went controling everything. I can't remember everything that happened in consecutive order and I'd rather not because it was so long and so many things happened. It was very fun. I basically just explored around my dream (which was set near that school and all these houses around it). I met this girl who became my friend during the dream and I went all around my dream with her. Maybe she is my dream guide?

I do remember that after I was at the school I walked down the sidewalk and these men in black suits were investigating some sort of crime scene or something. I think my dad kept dieing or got hurt alot, which made my dream sort of uncomfortable, but I still kept it a very joyful dream and everytime something I didn't like happened, I just shouted out a command to my dream and it would change. I liked using the shouted out commands method.

Every 15 minutes I would should out things like, "More lucidity! More dream control! More clarity!" And my dream would last a very long time. It was very vivid. It actually lasted over 3 hours. Because when I woke up just before my lucid dream it was 4:10. Then when I woke up it was 7:37. In my dream it felt like a little less than 3 hours, so I guess it was close.

At one point I tried to go to the beach so I could swim with dolphins. I tried dream spinning and closing my eyes but it didn't work. I was thinking about all the methods like the tv method and the river method. I kinda go desperate so I just walked up to a large rock in the ground and I stared at it and said, "This is my floating traveling rock. Raise." And it came out of the ground and hovered over it. I climbed on it and zoomed around. That was interesting. When I got to the beach it was a fake beach that my dream friend had taken me to before. I got frustrated and I was like, "Why'd you take me here?!? This is a fake beach. It's even got a pool cover over the water!" So I ended up not swimming with dolphins. This was toward the end of the dream. While I was there I overheard someone saying, "Your subconscious doesn't like this. You are being a control freak. You need to slow down a bit."

I wonder if this is really my subconsious or just that your are dreaming about your subconcious because of dreamviews. I guess it's just whatever you believe.

I can't believe I didn't remember to fly. I didn't even consider it during my dream. Or any of my other dream goals. Ohwell.




I just can't believe I got the longest, vivid, extremely lucid dream that I could completely control in only my second try. I'd like to thank the HILD method. It really works! You should try it!
