      Another B6 post, but I felt I need to ask...

      Please answer!
      Let's put our knowledge together here folks...

      EDIT: there was supposed to be a third option for taking the B6 after you've waken up for the second time if you prefer the WBTB method, as I do. Sorry guys, I don't know why it didn't show up

      Actually, let me ask for a third option.

      If it's before you go to bed, is that in reference to going to bed at night for the first time, or to going back to bed after the brief interlude of waking up for an hour or so? I guess it depends on how fast it's absorbed, which in turn depends on how much food (and what kind) you have in your tummy.

      No prob, b/c I take 160.5 mg of it w/my sleep pill anyways, & 250 mg of it in the morning!! ...

      whoops! there was supposed to be a third option for the WBTB method, since that's when I take mine, when I do take it, when i go back to bed for the second time. I'm going to try to fix it.

      That is right... from what I heard, 150 mg of B6 is the max in most people, but for some people, they actually need more.

      Yea, I've never heard anywhere that 50mg's is the max B6 you should take a day. I take at least 100.

      Here, this website tells you that it is 150: http://www.dietpower.com/help/diet/vitamin_b6.htm
      It says nothing at all about having neural damage from too much B6....all it says that you need to be cautious after taking in that much! Lack of B6 is worse than overdosage of it, actually!

      After visiting this site I decided I try some vitamin b6, but I tried my mums 10mg and it did absolutley nothing (I tried those two nights), so I went out the next day to get some with more b6 in the tablets, but the guy talked me into buying the B vitamin multitablet, which according to the label had 100mg of most of each of the B vitamins including the b6, so I tried these two nights, they appeared to help, my dreams were clear the 1st time I tried them, but the second night they seemed to have no effect, and I got twinges in my fingers the morning after, which alarmed me, I suppose Id be overdosing to be getting twinges so soon, now Im not taking any, Im too worried of the side effects. They also made me feel like a lathargic zombified wreck the morning after.. but thats normal

      finger spasms are common symptoms to many conditions. I wouldn't worry about that being from too much B6!

      I just picked up a bottle of 200mg tablets! They were on sale.

      nerve damage shouldn't be an issue until you're doing a gram or more a day, every day for a month or so.

      As for what i take.. i experimented.. i've taken up to 1gram before i went to sleep, but found it really doesn't work too well, just leaves you with a zombie feeling the next day. The most effective dose i've found is 50mg in the morning and 50mg at night (sometimes 100mg at night). That seems to really help.

      500mg is really the max dose i can recommend.. and i'm not too sure on the effects on the next day.. but don't drive with 500mg or over in you.. it REALLY makes you feel like a zombie.

      But it seems most effective when taken twice a day.. in moderatly low doses (50mg twice a day is not much.. but it seems to be enough)
