      Substance before bed?

Well, i've heard Milk makes it easier to fall asleep... but is there some non-illegal substance for a 16 year old to use before sleep to make dreams move vivid?

I would be content with substances that make sleep...

Suggestions? I have ginger tea... and that stuff rocks.

mmm, ginger tea! I can tell you one thing - when we have no weed I remember more of my dreams, and they seem more vivid! Maybe it is a LACK of substance that helps? Other than that, don't know. Stimulants I guess, seeing as booze and weed both inhibit dreams (or dream recall) so maybe it's a stimulant you need?

I dont know if, at the age of 16, you can buy melotonin, but check it out in the thread http://dreamviews.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1544

ANY dairy products will help, such as milk, chocolate, yogurt, etc.
Also, a SMALL amount of alcohol can help...such as 2 glasses of wine, it can help the vividity of dreams. But dairy products help increase Serotonin, which is the chemical released during REM sleep!

      Cheers, and good luck!

      How delightful.
      I'm a cheese critic.

I think working out can help to? Because i am self re-teaching myself Karate i learned as a child. And i lift weights and stuff... since that stimulates endorphins to be released it might help.

Has anyone tried calea zacatechichi? I think its used by the chontal? indians in south america to induce dreams, they drink some the tea and then smoke it apparently. Ive tried it without any noticeable effects although a lot of people have reported more vivid dreams. The tea tastes REVOLTING by the way . entada rheedii anyone? its a big seed from africa also used to induce dreams. I tried it once but only smoked a tiny amount cus i was a bit apprehensive as no one seems to know anything about it!

Hmm I wonder if weightlifting does help with dreams? I've never thought about it before, but I usually work out before bed so I guess it might of helped and I just never noticed.

I've noticed traumatic experiences and intense depression makes dreams a lot more excessive. They happen so rapidly tis amazing.

Yea I read somewhere about someone who was fasting and that resulted in more lucid dreams. Though I would never starve myself. I'm not THAT desperate.
