dream sign idea-- nude paranoia

Throughout my life, I have had a rare but recurring nightmare of suddenly being nude in places like malls where I am guaranteed to run into acquaintances I know. I had my first one in years this morning. I was in Oxford, Mississippi, where I lived as kid, and I was riding a bike near my old apartment and wearing no clothes. It really freaked me out. Not only is it extremely embarrassing, but also I can get arrested for it and have a terrible mark on my record for the rest of my job history. I decided to ride as fast as I could to some woods. All of the nearby woods I knew of were no longer there. There was just dirt and sand where woods used to be. I ended up running into a restaurant and asking a very snobby stranger where I could cover myself. He acted like a stuck up jackass and sarcastically told me that he always goes to the railroad tracks to get away from the public when he is naked. I asked him where the railroad tracks are, and he looked away and said in an insulting tone of voice, "I don't know." Then I woke up. I have been relieved all day that it was just a dream. In thinking about it, I decided that being naked in public is a situation I will never be in in the waking world, so if I find myslef in that situation again, it means I am definately dreaming. Flying by my own power is a similar situation, and it has been a 100% effective dream sign for a long time. Now I have a new one, and I have decided to make a long list of such situations and use them as dream signs too. It seems like that should increase my lucidity frequency a great deal.

YAY! One of my dreamsigns as well, results in lucidity about 75% of the time for me. Nothing like that feeling of relief when you realize it is a dream!
