Might have helped me have an LD

Yesterday I went to the beach with friends and when they all went to the shore I stayed in the water.
I was bored so I just lay on my back completely relaxed, looking at the sky.
I lay for about 5 minutes and after I got up walking was awkward as I could barely control my way through the ocean and kept stumbling and falling, kinda feels like ur drunk, pretty cool spaced out feeling.
Anyway, I did it two times.
Today in the morning I had an awesome LD, and as soon as i became lucid It felt slow motion and like I was moving in water.
So I dont know, I went to the beach today and did it again im gonna have to see the results tonight

Could this have helped my LD?
I found it hard, its hard to find, oh well, whatever, nevermind.

it could have. Its hard to say. You're experience at the beach could have transitioned into your dream becuse the experience you had was awesome.

It also could have been that it was just one of those dreams where you seem to be going in slow-mo, but that kind of stuff is kinda rare in LD's(but common in non ones)

Or it also could have been that you put yourself in a relaxed state by doing that thing in the water and you set your body and mind up for a lucid dream. Not sure

Try it again and get back to me. I'd like to know the results

Curiosity killed the cat but at least it didnt die an ignorant bastard

Most likley you dropped into a light trance from staring at the sky this would explain the spaced out feeling. As for helping you have lucid dreams im not sure Ive had moods where ive felt a similar strange feeling and gone to sleep certain i was going to have an LD and had one however ive no idea how to induce it artificialy.
