Sure! It looks like you have the hardest part (falling asleep) already down. I seem to have the opposite problem with DEILD at times :/ but anyways... try a mantra such as "I will maintain awareness while falling asleep-after every dream/ after waking up/ etc.... this way you don't just become aware after waking up and then lose your awareness when you fall asleep, as the key is to keep that awareness while you go back to sleep.
