      Reentering Lucid Dreams

This has happend alot of times to me, im in a dream and I realize that im dreaming, a while later i wake up and try to enter it again so i manage to do so, it once happend to me three times in a row. I've noticed that all lucid dreaming inducing techniques take a while to do or a method you have to follow, or at least working with your subcounscious. This isn't like that. Its like skipping all the WILD stages to just enter the dream directly.

Has anyone experienced something like this?

Does anyone know any method that can help you do this?

As a matter of fact, this happened to me today. I was in a lucid dream, looking at my reflection, levitating monk style, and trying for 360 vision (got really close!). The dream began to fade, and I felt myself in bed, even saw through my physical eyes for a moment. I focused on my dream body and rubbed my (dream) hands together. Once I was back in the dream, I did the hold-your-nose-and-breathe RC, which somehow stabalizes my LDs. It does skip right past all those WILD steps! I have never done the five step method, though I have tried; I can't even get to the vibrations. But I think there might be a shortcut here. Anyone else? I'm going to keep working on this method; maybe I can learn to do it straight from fully awake! I'll report back with progress.

when I was a kid, I remember what appeared to be me going froma tired waking state directly into a lucid dream, it seemed really odd at the time, I had a dire head ache and was sat on a chair just concentrating on "I want this head ache to go away" then suddenly I was in the dream and knew almost straight away it was a dream as the cupboards had multiplied themselves to a grand scale of like a row of 100 and then ochestral music appeared lol, I thought this must be a dream. haha. Thats my only experience of actually transitioning from wake to sleep in what appeared to be a flash and also realising it was a dream immediately. but it was so odd, the transition between waking and sleeping was flawless haha no black out what so ever, I suppose thats why I remember it from childhood.

I've had that happen to me once or twice also. I would be in a lucid dream and barely wake up. Then I would just stay relaxed and go right back into it. I guess since your body is already in sleep mode you don't have to go through the entire WILD process.
