I think possibly some herbs might help you lucid dream. As for mustard and ice cream? I think it is more of a placebo effect than anything else. |

I've heard a lot of stuff about food or psychoactives that help induce lucid dreams, and I don't know what to think. Calea zacatechichi is an herb that supposedly causes you to have lucid dreams more frequently, and I've heard that foods like mustard and ice cream also affect the frequency of lucid dreaming. My first lucid dream I had when I was a little drunk. I would consider these cheating in a sense, but just for curiosity's sake, does any of that stuff actually work? |

Well, anything with carbohydrates supposedly increases your serotonin production, thus leading to more vivid dreams. |

About a year ago I ate a gram of potent mushrooms and immediately went to bed. I had the most intense and productive lucid dream I've ever had. Woke up high as a kite though, and couldn't get back to sleep. I don't suggest trying it unless your familiar with the substance. |
