I've been a sceptic for about as long as I've lived that gems/stones/crystals have any power at all, that they were merely just some superstition that has been established in cultures. However recently I've purchased a nice piece of Blue Kyanite on eBay. It's a crystal which is supposedly supposed to amplify one's abiility to recall dreams and to dream. Spent like $15 on it with the thought that if it didn't do anything it could at least serve as a piece of decoration for my room. I recieved it about 3 days ago and placed it next to my bed.

Strangely enough I've been able to recall my dreams much more vividly, and frequently. I've almost become very close to a full LD state without doing any techniques the first two days. Placebo effect? It might be. However I've been keeping a dream journal for over an year now and it just suddenly improved. There hasn't been much I've done with my sleeping thats any different than before; times i go to bed, how long i sleep, location, etc. Anyways I was wondering if anyone has any experience with crystals and dreaming?

I'm glad that works for you but chances are it is just the placebo effect. The placebo effect can be quite strong if you're suggestable and you must've believed enough to buy the stone in the first place.

      good luck,

I agree with that it is probably placebo, but ignore me saying that and believe in the slight chance that it isn't placebo, so its effect can keep working

I believe if you want to know more, you'll seek an expert on it & find the answers you are looking for -- I've been dreaming Lucid Dreams even before I had access to stones/crystals or even knew of their affect on people's energy fields. We are energy & a lot don't know that. My dreams became more prevalent with the more meditation & spiritual practices that I endeavored in. -- My dreaming is what called me into a spiritual practice because of how vivid they were. It made me want to know more & made me ambitious. And since I've been pursuing it since 2009, it has forever changed who I am.

Pretty much: Don't let 'other people' (including me) change your mind. If your intuition is telling you that it helped, then you should truly put some off-time into finding out more. All of us our spiritual beings, but whether we push forward to know more, is completely up to us: it's free-will and being world full of information, you can't always accept someone's opinion as fact, that's why we have intuition, so you keep your dreaming mind open & vivid and see if your answer comes through there, ask for an answer through a prayer before you lay down for sleep -- And find out what your spirit has to say to your through the use of all the symbolism that it sends you in your dreams.

Because I know psychic that can't sleep because he does not maintain his spirituality & he's my uncle -- He has never been super religious/spiritual and he ended up having bipolar epidsodes -- That's what happens to the 6th & 7th chakras when you don't maintain them or 'close the spiritual door' if you are not going to maintain it. Because when you don't, it will back fire and cause things such as: bipolar, memory loss, schizophrenia & other brain issues if it is not maintained. The chakras are like bedrooms in a home: If you do not clean & maintain things, it will get dirty with muck (negative energy) and eventually it will be overrun with cock roaches (negative entities), then eventually the house over years of not doing a spring cleaning or anything -- It will collapse on itself for lack of care.

But my uncle is the only case I have seen because he was born that way: he would have vivid dreams of exactly what would happen the next day or at important days. -- But don't always follow people, be your own LEADER in your life & follow your intuition because it's scientifically proven we have one but it takes using it more in order for it to work better for us. Just like muscles

I hope you find your way through this question.

      Blessed be

(P.S. If you would like to know more & would like some references or anything at all, just PM me and I will do with what I have to provide clarity for you because I know how confusing it can be when all of it happens with no one to explain it )

This thread is a 7 year necro. Meaning, nobody spoke here in 7 years, and people that posted here are not active anymore. Much better then necroing a post is to start a new thread if you have a question, so people that are active now can help. If someone asked for help in this thread, he will not see your reply anyway. Thank you.
