      Very Weird

      Something happened last night.

      I was laying on my stomach in my bed, my mind was clear. I don't have to do meditation, my mind is usually clear. So anyways, I begin to drift off into sleep, when BAM! It feels as if the bed was yanked out from under me. I felt like I was falling very rapidly, but then all of the sudden it stopped. I didn't move or anything, it just gradually stopped. I observed that my body felt very heavy, particularly around the leg region.
      What will I do? I fell asleep a few minutes after this. xDD

      I was just wondering, what was happening? Was the universe slipping? Was my etheral body lifting from my real body? Just lookin' for answers ^^;

      It sounds to me like you were in the beginning stages of WILD. The heaviness you describe could be partial SP (sleep paralysis). I have never done a WILD successfully myself, but the other sensations you describe sound similar to what others have said they feel when entering a LD using WILD.

      Hopefully, someone with more WILD experience than I do will chime in here and give you a better explanation, and possibly explain how you can use these sensations to enter a lucid dream.

      Some people would say that you were about to have an OBE, but i think you suddenly became very relaxed and experienced some of the strange feelings that people get when they are relaxed (I felt like i was sinking in my bed when I was HILDing) and many people talk about weird vibration in WILD, as TygrHawk was saying.

      Seemes to me like you become relaxed very easy, I think you could be a master at hypnosis and stuff you need to be relaxed.

      Anyways I think somebody should move this to the Beyond Dreaming sections, i doesn't really have to do with attaining lucidity.

      Actually, SP has much to do w/Lucidity.

      When does he talk about sleep paralysis?

      He just says HE didn't move, not that he was paralysed. And he described feeling heavy, not any lack of response from his body about trying to move.

      you should read carefully..

      He couldn't move, he meant. If his body was feeling very heavy, that is part of SP!
