Hi. I am new here. Can someone help me?

I have learned about lucidity yesterday from another site then I found this site today. I feel like my dream recall is.....mush. My first time I just concentrated on remembering my dream. I remembered one. 2 dreams in one week....a new record! LOL. So I know I need to work on that. After practicing and actually remembering a few dreams, I decided to try to become lucid for the first time. Before I went to sleep I was saying to myself "I will have a lucid dream tonight. I will know I am dreaming. I will remember my dreams." Unfortunately, I think I tried too hard and I was up until 1 in the morning. I decided to give up for the night and try tomorrow night. (tonight) By the way I started RT now. I use the hand technique and sometimes the clock technique. Anyway, any ideas on how I can try to become lucid without trying so hard it keeps me awake? Thanks.

I seem to be having the same problem. I have found the Tutorials section very useful. And relax.
