      Hey everyone,

It's a bit last minute, but I realized some of you might want to join in.

I've been out of the game for a while and am using the next 30 days to kickstart back into lucid dreaming.

Basically we'll be using WBTB, MILD and RC'sfor 30 days and sharing the results. Details here.

The more the merrier, so join in!

I've just recently got back into lucid dreaming. MILD has always been my technique, so I shall take up the 30 day challange! The extra incentive to keep posting my progress will be a huge help. I won't be able to start until tomorrow though, because I need to fix my sleep schedule. I'm stoked, let's do this!

(My first post. I'm a lurker, but it's time to get back into a community again.)

Count me in. This will also help me sticking with a method instead of jumping from one method to the other.

      Day 1

Well, I was stoked to begin last night, but I had a case of insomnia which wore down my resolve.
Tonight I'm going to get some good exercise, and have another go.

I guess I'll join in. Also I'm going to try DEILD. The plan is, if deild fails then I will try wbtb+mild. Durring the day I will incubate a LD and perform RCs.

No sucess. Mostly because I didnt wake up. That was because I forgot to say my mantra before I went to bed. :/

I didn't get a chance to exercise like I planned, and once again, couldn't fully commit because I couldn't sleep. My recall was also horrible last night. Not giving up though, i'll get one tonight, I know it!

As far as what I've been doing during the day: I've been randomly checking my reality every 30 minutes to an hour, carefully making sure I'm not going through the motions, but seriously considering that I could be dreaming. Also, I've been trying to cultivate the mindset that if anything at all strange happens, any coincidence occurs, I'll reality check. I've gotten better, but there's still a lot of room for improvement.

What's sad is, my brother has gotten two lucids this week, and he hardly tries. Makes me so jealous.

      Day 1:

I drank some water before I went to bed because lately my mantra isn't working anymore (I wake up after my dreams).

This night I woke up twice. After 4 hours and 20 minutes and after 6 hours. After I woke up I recalled as much as I could and went to the bathroom. After that I went back to bed and used the mantra: 'My next dream will be lucid'. Only had a few more non-lucids but one was really a missed chance. In my dream I told someone that she was dreaming, and watched her get lucid. It was actually a lucid dream because I wouldn't be able to tell someone she's dreaming if I don't know that I'm dreaming myself.

I'm not going to count this one as a lucid dream because I wasn't aware and haven't had thoughts like: oh I'm dreaming.

Unsucessfull because I couldn't wake up from my mantra. I'll try mantras 1 more time, and if they fail, then I will use an alarm.

      Day 3

Once again my recall was absolutely horrible last night. I feel like I might've went semi lucid, but I don't remember anything. Only reason I feel that way is because I woke up on a brief awakening and recalled something from a dream, but it's lost to me now, only the feeling remains. I don't count that. I don't think I'm taking journaling seriously enough, and it's something I'm gonna have to work on. I really like writing lucid out, it's fun to me, but Non-Lucids, not so much. I need to be more disciplined.

I did get some exercise, but It wasn't enough and sleeping was hard. I'll have to increase my exercise efforts.

Daytime practice: I did tons of nose reality checks, and started using the "what was I doing 5-10 minutes ago RC." I feel like it might be the best one, for day time practice, but I've only been doing it for one day, so I can't say for sure yet.

Tonight: I took a B-complex and a multivitamin, hoping that's going to solve my low recall problem. I'm not giving up by no means, I'm definitely getting a lucid tonight!

I'm going to use an alarm tonight, I don't think i can rely on myself to wake up. I think this might be where I'm going wrong.

      Day 2:

Not much happened. Did 1 wbtb with the same mantra etc. I did have some vivid non lucids but nothing lucid related. Could do more reality checks because yesterday I did like 5 or 6.

Unsucessfull. I did however wake up 2 times in the night and did wbtb. However, upon finishing then mantra for a couple of minutes I fell asleep, and never did the visualization. I did end up having vivid dreams. Hopefully with the visualization I i get a LD soon. And also for anyone who is a little put down about their unsucessfull temps, don't be because if this is your first time trying Mild, then you won't have a lot of sucess early on. The important thing is to be persistent and have a good attitude.

Looks like everyone had bad luck. I actually pulled an all nighter getting some things done, so i'll be editing this later with my results for last nights, which is actually going to be todays, sleep. Don't lose motivation guys! DILD's start coming in waves in my experience. You put the effort in, the results will follow!

      Edit:

      Day 4
Yet another unsuccessful day with little recall. I'm going to blame it on my lack of sleep, since I only got 6 hours. Had a few dreams, one I wasn't comfortable writing up and another too short, maybe a sentence long. I'm going to cut back on the coffee I'm consuming per day, and kick up the exercise a little. I kind of slacked on my RC's yesterday as well. Not giving up hope by any means, I just need to start getting more sleep! I'm excited to try the TOTM for Nov, whenever it gets posted. Perhaps this will give me the extra push I need to get my first lucid of this 30 day challenge.

Somewhat sucessfull. I tried about 3 times last night and in one dream I dreamed about becoming lucid. It happened with me putting a sticker on my arm and if it was there later then I would be in a dream. Eventually I noticed it and said I was lucid. However I quickly lost lucidity. This all happened in a dream. Overall I think that it was a dream about becoming lucid. If anyone can tell me if I was in an actual LD then it would be very helpful.
